Thailand: Freshmen Presented with Quran Translation in Thai

Fatoni University in Thailand has gifted first-year students a copy of the Holy Quran translation in the Thai language. 

 

New students at Patoni University, a private Islamic university in southern Thailand, got a Thai translation of the Holy Quran as a gift at their welcome ceremony.

The translations were printed by King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran while the Saudi embassy in Bangkok worked cooperated with the university to give this gift to the new students.

Ismail Lotfi, the head of Fatoni University thanked the Saudi officials for this gift and said it was very valuable.

Fatoni University is a private Islamic university in Pattani Province, Thailand. It was established in 1992 by Muslim scholars and experts in Islamic education in the region. It is the first private Islamic university in the Southeast Asian country.

It offers various programs at the bachelor's, master's, and diploma levels. It has the vision to be a leading university in Islamic studies and other sciences that meet international standards and serve the needs of society.
